Scope & Precedence
These Terms and Conditions apply to all retreats booked with Om & Beyond Retreats. Each individual retreat also has its own Booking Agreement, which contains details specific to that retreat (including dates, pricing, payment deadlines, and location). Where anything in a specific retreat's Booking Agreement differs from these general Terms, the Booking Agreement takes precedence for that retreat.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

These are the Terms and Conditions that apply when you book one of our retreats. Please read them carefully, as you will be bound by them.
The contract and booking is made with, and services are provided by, Om & Beyond Retreats. By booking a retreat, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which govern our relationship, the cancellation policy, and limitations of liability.
These Terms apply to all retreats. Each individual retreat also has its own Booking Agreement, which sets out details specific to that retreat — including dates, pricing, payment deadlines, and location. Together, these Terms and the relevant Booking Agreement form the entire agreement between Om & Beyond Retreats and the Client relating to that retreat. Where anything in a specific retreat's Booking Agreement differs from these general Terms, the Booking Agreement takes precedence for that retreat. There is no verbal or written representation, warranty, or prior agreement other than as expressed in these two documents.
These Terms and Conditions affect your rights and set out the governing law and forum for the resolution of any disputes (see "Governing Law & Disputes" below).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Deposits & Payments
Payments Directly Through Om & Beyond Retreats
Securing your booking requires a non-refundable deposit per person, along with submission of our online booking form. This deposit secures your place and covers non-refundable essentials such as accommodation reservations and supplier commitments made in advance.
Deposit and Full Payment Schedule
You may secure your place with a deposit up to 45 days before the retreat start date. Full payment is then due no later than 30 days before the retreat begins, unless a different deadline or payment plan is set out in that retreat's Booking Agreement, in which case the Booking Agreement applies.
Late Booking (within 30 days of the retreat)
If you book within 30 days of the retreat start date, full payment is required in one payment at the time of booking.
Balance Payment
If you have paid a deposit, your remaining balance is due by the deadline stated in your Booking Agreement (and no later than 30 days before the retreat unless otherwise agreed in writing). Failure to complete payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your place, and forfeiture of sums paid, as set out below.
Cancellation of Booking for Non-Payment
If the final balance is not received by the due date, Om & Beyond Retreats reserves the right to cancel your booking. In this event, sums already paid are non-refundable, as set out in the Refund & Cancellation section below.
Payment Methods
Deposits and payments can be made by all major credit cards.
Pricing & Currency Policy:
Prices are set in CHF. Where prices are displayed in another currency (for example GBP, USD, or EURO), they reflect the prevailing exchange rate at the time of display plus a small handling charge of up to 2%, and may vary slightly due to rounding and currency fluctuation between booking and the retreat date. The CHF price is the definitive amount.
Payment Plans
Payment plans are available in 2–6 monthly instalments and must be completed in full before the retreat begins. A small administrative charge applies to longer plans, to cover transfer and admin fees:
6-month plan — up to 4%
4-month plan — up to 2%
2-month plan — up to 1%
Interest is kept as low as possible, and your full payment schedule will be confirmed to you in writing before you commit.
REFUND / CANCELLATION
Written notice required. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email, and are only valid once acknowledged by Om & Beyond Retreats in writing by email.
All payments (including deposits and balances) are non-refundable. This policy exists because many costs are committed well in advance to secure locations, accommodation, chefs, facilitators, and other services. The parties expressly agree that sums paid are not to be treated as arrhes under any applicable statutory deposit regime, and that the consequences of cancellation are governed solely by these Terms and the relevant Booking Agreement.
Goodwill credit. While payments are non-refundable, at our discretion, and where you give reasonable notice, we may offer part of the sums paid as a credit toward a future retreat, valid for up to two (2) years from the original retreat date. Any such credit is offered as a gesture of goodwill and is not a guaranteed entitlement.
Genuine emergencies. If a genuine emergency prevents your attendance, please contact us. We will consider a credit or partial transfer on a compassionate, case-by-case basis.
We warmly encourage you to consider your plans and commitments before booking. Our team is always here to answer any questions about this policy.
CANCELLATION OF A RETREAT BY OM & BEYOND RETREATS
Om & Beyond Retreats reserves the right to cancel any retreat. We will not cancel a retreat less than 30 days before the start date except in unusual or unforeseen circumstances outside Om & Beyond Retreats's control.
If we cancel a retreat before the start date, you may choose either to:
transfer all monies paid toward another retreat taking place within twelve (12) months, or
receive a full refund of all monies paid under the contract.
This is the full extent of Om & Beyond Retreats's liability in the event of cancellation by us, and no additional sum is payable.
Om & Beyond Retreats is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses you may have incurred in connection with your booking — such as visas, vaccinations, travel insurance, or non-refundable flights or rail tickets.
TRAVEL & HEALTH INSURANCE
Om & Beyond Retreats recommends Clients obtain travel medical insurance that covers personal injury and emergency medical expenses, including but not limited to, helicopter evacuation, air ambulance, and repatriation.
It is strongly recommended the coverage be extended to include cancellation, curtailment, and all other expenses that might arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience occurring during travel.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
The Client must be in possession of a valid passport (valid for at least six months past return date), all visas, permits, certificates, and insurance policies required for the entire journey. The Client accepts full responsibility for obtaining all necessary documents prior to departure.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
Clients acknowledge that travel can present certain risks, dangers, and physical challenges beyond those encountered in daily life. Clients are responsible for ensuring they are in suitable health and fitness for the retreat.
SUPPLIERS & INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS
Some services provided by Om & Beyond Retreats may be arranged through independent suppliers. While we strive to select reputable partners, Om & Beyond Retreats is not responsible for the performance of third-party services.
SAFETY & TRIP ENJOYMENT
Clients must comply with all rules and regulations imposed by Om & Beyond Retreats and its guides. Any Client who poses a risk to themselves, others, or the environment may be removed from the retreat without a refund.
HEALTH & FITNESS
Some retreats may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions. It is the Client’s responsibility to inform Om & Beyond Retreats of any relevant health issues in advance.
PHOTOS, VIDEO, AND CONTENT CREATION
By attending a retreat, Clients grant Om & Beyond Retreats permission to use any photos or videos taken during the retreat for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.
RETREAT ITINERARY CHANGES
Om & Beyond Retreats reserves the right to alter retreat itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to, weather, safety concerns, or external conditions beyond our control.
LIABILITY
Om & Beyond Retreats is not responsible for any losses, damages, or injuries sustained by Clients due to unforeseen events, third-party actions, or circumstances beyond our control.
ACCEPTANCE OF RISK
Clients acknowledge the inherent risks involved in travel and adventure activities and assume full responsibility for their participation.
SEVERABILITY
If any part of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms shall continue to be valid and enforceable.
UPDATING OF TERMS & CONDITIONS
Om & Beyond Retreats reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Clients are responsible for reviewing the latest terms before booking.
